2. Regulations for the Trial events

2.1 Bases of the events

The Club events will be carried out in accordance with the valid and current Trial Regulations.

2.2 Participants / drivers

Each participant/driver at the Trial events must possess a valid and authorized driving licence / permission to drive.

2.3 Co-drivers

It is only permitted to have one co- driver in the vehicle.  The co-driver must be at least 12 years of age. In the case of a under 18 co-driver, a written permission (in English or German) must be signed by the next of kin and submitted to the Trial office. 

During  the driving of a section the co-driver may perform different operations.

Drivers and co-drivers may not leave their seat.

     The driver may decide from section to section whether the co-driver is in the vehicle.

     The co-drivers may be exchanged from section to section .

     The co-driver is not permitted to assist or signal the driver from outside of the vehicle (when not present in the vehicle)

Each driver may drive each section only once.  It is possible for a driver to experience a section more than once in the role of co-driver.

2.4 Classes / Groups

A participant chooses a class at the registration stage.  Vehicle changes and class changes are possible, however not during the same event.

2.5 Class allocation

A minimum number of starters in a particular class is not required.

2.6 Driving rules

During the event the participants must follow the instructions of the Trial Manager, Marshals and the rules.  Further regulations or alterations may be given during the Drivers Briefing. Changes must be followed by an immediate notice of change. All changes must conform to the current regulations.

2.7 Offences against the rules

Offences against the rules and a successful protest can result in disqualification depending upon the offences.

2.8 Point assignment for the nation valuation

2.8.1.      Points will be assigned in each class (except Pro- Modified 2004,2005) for the Nation valuation.

2.8.2.      The points of the best three drivers of each class (see point table 2.8.3) will give the placement results. The  Winner is the Nation with the most points.

2.8.3.      This table shows how the points will be distributed for the Nation valuation.

2.9 Result Lists

The days results will be displayed each evening in a designated place .

2.9.1 Result lists

The organizer will provide a Results List for all participants and nations. The following information will be displayed:  Class, placement, starting number, surname, first name, the type of vehicle and the points achieved.

2.10 Registration

2,10 1.  Registration Deadline is stated in the Registration details. 

2.10.2. 

The Registration fee is €147.00 per participant . The Registration fee is only repayable in the event of a cancellation at the fault of the Trial Management.

2.11 Advertisement

The participants commit themselves with submission of the Registration, for the duration of the meeting to display the starting number and Eurotrial sponsorship advertisement on the bonnet and sides of the vehicle.  If necessary a free surface on the vehicle must be kept free / made free for this purpose.

2.12 Conclusion

The definition, which result from the wording of the regulation, will be decided by the  4x4 Trial Club Vorarlberg

The 4x4 TCV reserves the rights to consider the official Austrian regulations in the case of uncorrect  English translation.
